The BSD Safari Frame is Reed Stark’s signature model, designed around his unique approach to riding—mixing creativity, flow, and all-terrain exploration. Built with a longer front end and a responsive rear, the Safari delivers a distinctive feel that stands out from traditional street geometry.
At the core of the Safari is its long front end paired with a short 12.8"–13.2" rear end, giving you a stable yet responsive ride. This combination offers extra room up front for control and comfort, while keeping the back end quick for manuals, spins, and technical riding.
A 75° headtube angle keeps the steering predictable and balanced, making the frame versatile across street, park, and transition riding. The taller 9.5" standover height and longer headtube create a more spacious, stable feel—ideal for riders who prefer a less cramped setup or run higher bars.
The Safari also features BSD’s Superscoop chainstay tubing, allowing for improved tyre clearance even when the wheel is slammed, without sacrificing strength or responsiveness.
Built from 4130 CrMo tubing with a durable construction, the frame is designed to handle heavy riding while maintaining a solid feel, coming in at around 5.3lbs.

Delivery charges vary, depending on the option you choose at checkout.
If it is the first time you have placed an order with Back Street BMX Store, we may require your order to be sent to the registered cardholder's billing address. This is to protect you and Back Street BMX Store against possible card fraud.
In the unlikely event that your order has been lost or damaged in transit, please report this to the shipping company straight away and then get in touch with us prior to returning your item. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days of receiving it for a full refund. The items must be returned in a new condition and with the original packaging. If the product has been damaged, used (including any form of bike set-up, e.g. mounting handlebars, cranks, forks etc) or has had the labels/stickers removed, it will not be possible for us to issue a refund.
If you wish to exchange an item, you will need to process a return and place a new order, we are unable to hold stock while an exchange is being processed.
When returning a product, please include the original packaging. Take care to pack the product correctly to avoid damage during transit. We recommend returning the product using a tracked delivery service to ensure a smooth return. We will issue a full refund within 14 days of receiving the product.
Refunds will be issued using the same means of payment as the original order. We regret that we are not able to cover the cost of returning your item.
